The TacAssist Comb Raiser is the first fully adjustable Kydex formed comb riser, designed with superior accuracy in mind, to be mounted quickly and easily with no permanent effect on the stock. The TacAssist comb raiser inner sleeve straps onto all stock types with a slip proof lapping that prevents any sliding. The outer comb adjusts up and down on the inner sleeve, and locks in place using the supplied allen key.

Stocks are generally built for open sights, even a Monte Carlo stock with a higher comb will often be too low for a scope. In order to accurate results we need to use a good, proper cheek weld. A proper cheek weld would be the same pressure as resting or sleeping with your cheek on the comb. If your cheek is floating it will affect your accuracy shooting prone up to 3 minutes of angle, and be greatly exaggerated if shooting in another position.
